- Nyhavn
Want to be surrounded by colorful houses? Nyhavn is the place to go to. There are many restaurants and bars there, so if you feel like sitting down for a bit, eating some lunch, Nyhavn has you covered. You can sit on a terrace and look over the canal, which is a beautiful view. In Copenhagen you can go on a canal tours as well. It's a fun way to see more of the city. If you want, you can start your tour in Nyhavn.

- Tivoli Gardens
Tivoli is an amusement park, but definitely not only for little kids. You don't even have to go in an attraction to have fun. Especially during the evening it's wonderful to just walk through the park since they will turn on thousand of little lights, which looks beautiful and makes it feel as if you're in the middle of a fairy tale (during christmas season). There are many places to get some food/drinks, as well as little shops. More info about Tivoli can be found here.

- Glyptoteket
The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen is an art museum. What you will find there most are sculptures and paintings. If you're more into modern art, I guess this won't be the right place for you but it's really worth a visit. The building itself is beautiful, inside and out. Inside the building there is cafe, a small garden with statues and a fountain.

- Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
If you're into modern art, you'll definitely want to visit Louisiana, museum of modern art. It's located in Humlebæk. You can get there by train which will take you 30 minutes. The train rides along the coastline, so a beautiful view is guaranteed.

- Christiansborg Palace
In Copenhagen you will find many palaces. If you want you can buy a combination ticket for visiting the Royal Stables, the Ruins and the Royal Reception Rooms. I visited the Royal Reception Rooms. Very beautiful rooms with big tables, mirrors, chandeliers and more. They all look very different and are used for different events.

Of course there is many more to see and to do in Copenhagen, but these were some of my favorite places. Have you ever been to Copenhagen? If so, what placed did you visit during your trip?
