New York City offers a bunch of beautiful locations from where you can watch the sun set. Not all of them are free, but the Brooklyn Bridge is. It's an amazing spot and you'll have a gorgeous view. You can even see the Statue of Liberty in the distance.

- Check out the street art in Brooklyn
Some people don't pay Brooklyn a visit when they're in New York City. Such a shame since it has a lot to offer. Something which you can see there is a bunch of amazing street art, especially if you go to Bushwick.

- Visit Coney Island
When you're visiting Coney Island, you sort of forget that you're in NYC. There's a beach, attractions, you can play arcade and eat hotdogs, fries etc. No skyscrapers, no cars all around you. Just water, wind, sand. Coney Island just shows how diverse New York City is.

- Walk in Central Park
There are multiple big parks in New York City. Central Park is probably the most famous one. It's the perfect place to walk around and escape the city life for a little while. Something which you really need after spending a couple of hours/days in the busy city centre. Central Park has beautiful fields, lakes, and a few attractions as well, like The MET.

- Visit a museum during the free hours
If you like visiting museum and don't mind waiting in a line for a little while, visit them during the free hours. This will save you quite some money. Not all museums offer free hours but if you look on the internet, you can find lists, days and hours. All the info you need.

- Walk the High Line
The High Line is a public park in NYC. It's a special one since it's above the streets and it used to be a rail road. It's free to enter and it is definitely fun to walk your way from beginning to end. But you don't need to. There are multiple entrances/exits.
